Why Item Upgrade Is The Next Big Obsession
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption function in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment in three attributes: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item level upgrade, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next successful result is repeated. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open, they display a full description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that can increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Additionally players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for new players. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be applied in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade items process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item upgrade is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item upgrade is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with a number Upgrade tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide extra effects or an increased quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.
Some items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of that item and the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory when you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close to finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader (Telegra's website) NPC.
