The best robot hoover, astradentvl.Ru, can clean and mop without requiring your attention, and it leaves your floors spotless. Its low cost and top-of-the-line features (such as dirt detection) are pluses.

Examine your robot's brush regularly for tangled debris and hair. Clean them as needed. Some models can also self-empty the dust bin on board and then deposit it in an additional bin located at the base. This reduces the amount fine dust that gets released into the air.

1. Roomba Q5 Pro

The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive cousin the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we've test. They feature top-of-the-line motors that can generate up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. As with other premium iRobot models (including the top choice) they employ smart mapping technology to design detailed floor plans and avoid household obstacles such as cords and furniture legs. The robots that vacuum and mop also feature the feature of Carpet Boost that boosts its power when it detects dirt on the carpet.

Both the Q5 and Q7 Max Series get very excellent scores in our tests on floors that are bare They're also particularly adept at cleaning pet hair. They do have some flaws, however, that prevent them from being our first choice. One of the weaknesses of the Q5 is that its navigation system does not feature AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's also prone to become stuck on shoes and socks, and it couldn't navigate through rooms with a lot of people well during our tests. It doesn't also have a camera that can see around corners.

It's still a good deal particularly if your office or home has a lot of unfinished floors and you're looking to save some money. Additionally, it's quiet and can be used while you're at work, or at school. The only thing it doesn't have that you won't find in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming of floors with no floor. It's also less effective at mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick well and isn't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 does have self-emptying docks, however. If you're in need of it mop, the mopping pad can be swapped for a wet one in just a few seconds.

2. iRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive mopping and vacuuming into an elegant, compact package. Its quick navigation and smart cleaning maps make it easy to clean and efficient in dealing with larger particles such as pet hair. It also has a self-emptying bin as well as powerful suction, and support for virtual boundaries. It's the most efficient robotic hoover for carpets, however it's not as good as other hoovers when it comes to deep cleaning.

This high-performance vacuum and mop utilizes sensors to stay clear of obstacles and pet waste. It also learns the layout of your home over time to ensure cleaner and more efficient cleaning. You can modify the schedule of cleaning and even customize zones with the well-designed app. It has a battery lifespan that is similar to other models.

If the X30 Ultra is in a carpeted area, you can instruct it to take off and extend its mop. This can help avoid cross contamination. The flex arm can be utilized to reach under low-lying furnishings and along baseboards. It doesn't perform as well on the washboard as our other Editors' Choice Picks, the Ecovacs Ozmo N8Pro+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.

During testing during testing, the X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop in the market to clean the entire house with only 66 percent of its battery left. It also did an excellent job cleaning a variety of floors and rooms that had mixed flooring types, including some area rugs. Its obstacle detection was superb and it was able to avoid fake dog turds, socks, shoes and bundles cables.

It's a bit more expensive than the iRobot Combo v9+ and iRobot Roomba j9+, but it has superior suction, a built-in dust bin that automatically empties into its base, and also supports voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can clean the floor even after it has vacuumed. This is a feature we haven't seen before on other robotic vacuum/mop combos.

3. IRobot Roomba X40

With an elegant circular design that appears more like a normal Roomba than the competitors' compact models This mop and robot vacuums with mop vacuum is one of the most appealing looking in our reviews. The latest model from iRobot is also among its most advanced. It has advanced features, like Enhanced Dirt Detection as well as future compatibility (another company’s robot that can wash mop pads on its own).

It's also the only robotic vacuum/mop to score an absolute 10 out of 10 in our evaluations. This is thanks to a combination high-tech sensors, including a structured lighting system, a camera and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot vacuum best we tested that is fully autonomously refill and empty its base station and boasts an industry-leading 12,000Pa suction and self-cleaning mop pads.

Like other iRobot models, the X40 is user-friendly, with a simple mobile app interface as well as integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The only drawback is that it's an eerily noisy device which could be an issue if you use it in the morning prior to work, or at night when you try to fall asleep.

It's also a bit costly however, not as expensive as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or Roborock S8 Omni, which are equally capable and better looking. If you're willing to live with a little more noise and some extra cost it's a capable two-in-one that should satisfy most people.

4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop, with a variety of sophisticated features that will let you forget about your chores. Similar to Ecovacs range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-off cleaning machine that can take the care of vacuuming and mopping, with a multifunction dock that automatically empty the vacuum's dustbin, refills its water tank and washes and dries its mop pads.

The smart robot makes use of LIDAR and structured lighting to map out floor plans and spot obstacles. It is more efficient in its navigation than its top competitors. It also comes with a front-mounted camera for real-time hazards detection, though this wasn't completely foolproof in our tests, and was often confused with power cords or obstructions.

Its vacuum has a suction maximum of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to finish the job. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates how hard the vacuum works and also adjusts the frequency of cleaning for different areas of the home depending on the degree of dirt they tend to be.

For bigger homes it's recommended to choose a model that has zone or spot cleaning modes that let you tell the robot vacuums with mop to clean a particular area of your home by using the app or voice commands. A stair mode can be useful if you have a lot furniture. For busy families, a recharge function and resume feature that permits your robot vacuum to continue from where it left off can be extremely useful.

5. iRobot Roomba RX3

The RX3 is a more efficient cleaner than you'd think from its price. It's a pro at vacuuming, removing 55% of the debris that was found in our tests (it was second only to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mopses with one pad that has an oscillating motion that is cleaner than the other mop cleaners for robots we've tried. It's also extremely self-sufficient, with a fully-featured application, and a self emptying base that is washable.

The well-designed iRobot application guides you through an initial mapping run that gathers information about your floorplan as well as any "no-go" areas you mark on the map. It can be used to design cleaning schedules, or to create the spot-cleaning. You can also use it to prioritize the most soiled areas to improve performance. The app comes with a variety of features, such as seasonal suggestions, custom mapping, and advanced cleaning settings.

Its shape is more rectangular than other robot vacuum with mop vacuums, meaning it can get to corners and under furniture more easily. It also has strong 8,000 Pascal suction and intelligent combs for pet hair. It also has the ability to set up a spot clean that scours a specific area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a more sleek and less expensive alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It's got a more attractive, Dolce & Gabbana-esque design and its twin cameras look like cute eyes. It is great at vacuuming, but it's more likely to get stuck on low thresholds. It is also noisier than other top robot vacuums that we have tested. It also has an app that's less intuitive and has a tiny base station that can't double as a bin for emptying.
