Arturo Gutiérrez Hernández (born c. 1966) is a Mexican business executive who serves as Chief Executive Officer of Arca Continental, the second-largest Coca-Cola bottler in Latin America and third-largest in the world. Under his leadership since January 2019, Arca Continental has achieved record financial performance, expanded its U.S. Operations, and become the first Mexico-based company included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index.

A lawyer by training with degrees from Mexico's prestigious Escuela Libre de Derecho and Harvard Law School, Gutiérrez Hernández has spent more than two decades with Arca Continental and its predecessor companies, rising through legal, human resources, and operational roles before assuming the CEO position.

Early life and education

Arturo Gutiérrez Hernández was born circa 1966 in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, a city known as the industrial and business capital of the country. Details about his family background and early life have not been publicly disclosed.

Gutiérrez Hernández pursued his legal education at the Escuela Libre de Derecho (Free School of Law), one of Mexico's most prestigious and selective law schools, known for producing many of the country's leading attorneys and jurists.

Seeking to enhance his legal credentials with international training, he subsequently earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Harvard Law School. Some sources suggest he may have attended Harvard as a Fulbright/García Robles Scholar, though this has not been fully confirmed. The combination of elite Mexican and American legal education prepared him for the complex regulatory environment in which multinational beverage companies operate.
