Oliver Zipse

Oliver Zipse (born February 7, 1964) is a German business executive serving as chairman of the board of management of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (BMW), one of the world's leading premium automotive manufacturers. Appointed CEO in August 2019, Zipse leads BMW's transformation toward electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and digital services while maintaining the brand's performance and luxury positioning.

Zipse joined BMW in 1991 as a production planner and rose through manufacturing and operations roles. He became head of production before being appointed CEO.
