Founded in 1849 by Charles Pfizer and Charles F. Erhart, Pfizer has developed numerous breakthrough drugs and vaccines. Under CEO Albert Bourla, Pfizer partnered with BioNTech to develop the first COVID-19 vaccine authorized in Western countries.
